Router Admin Login

The router IP address is the default login IP that is reserved for routers and modems. The IP address is registered by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) as part of a private network.

Using this IP address, you can access your router’s admin panel and configure any one of its settings.

For instance, you can change the login details, enhance the security of your network by changing the default network name, and even edit your network settings like Wifi, LAN, DNS, and more.

Usually, mistyping of this IP address is quite common. A lot of people will either mistype some of the digits by adding a letter (i.e. I instead of 1) or adding some weird characters into the browser.

This may lead to unsuccessful attempts to access the admin interface.

Next, open your favorite browser on your computer and type or paste the IP address. Be careful when typing the address to avoid issues. Make sure it’s strictly, not 192.168.I.10.

To avoid typing errors, it’s always recommended to copy-paste the address onto your browser instead of typing.

You can do this by Googling your router’s name or IP address. Your router’s IP address will be displayed on various websites. Copy the address from the website and paste it on your browser

If you’ve entered the correct address, you will automatically be directed to the default router login page.

If this is your first time trying to access the router admin panel, you can use the default username and password of the router. You can find this information on the router box or the manual that comes with the package.

Usually, most routers come with default login credentials. The most common default login details include “username” and “password.”

Try these to access the admin panel. If these credentials fail to work, there are various websites that list router login credentials for different router models. Simply search for the default login details of your router on your browser.

In case you’ve forgotten your custom router username and password, the only solution is to reset the router back to factory settings. By doing so, you’ll be able to use the router’s default login credentials

After entering the correct username and password, the administration panel of the router will open up. Here, you can easily configure the device’s settings.

You can change your internet connection from static to dynamic, change your router’s network name, adjust the security settings, and so much more

 How to Reset your Router

If you’re unable to log into the router, resetting it is a good way to get it to work. Likewise, if you’ve forgotten your router login credentials, resetting the router back to factory settings is advisable.

There is a small hole on the bottom or back of your router. You’ll need a pointed object that will fit into the small hole. Using the pointed object, press and hold the reset button for about 30 seconds before releasing it.

The router will reboot. Wait for it to power on. Attempt to login again. Make sure the router is plugged in before trying to reset it.
